I don't know about 'normal.' I'd prefer to use 'creepy.'

Considering what their books did that one time, that seems to be the case. Although, I've never heard of a fortune teller taking someone aside just to hand them a mask and a cookie. Why set up a booth for telling fortunes when she doesn't even do that?

[ He nods at that, as he sticks his mask into the side of his pants to keep it secure there at his side. ]

Yeah. I'm not really sure I get the point of that. [ A pause, as he takes out the fortune that was in his cookie. "I think, you ate your fortune while you were eating your cookie". That makes zero sense to him and that coupled with the random mask, is ... weird. What was the point. ]

I don't think I understand this fortune, either. But the cookie was good! I wonder if I could get another ...

Maybe it's a cultural difference. [His tone suggests that he doubts it, but...it's a possibility.

Mikleo walks over to Sorey's side so that he can read what's on his friend's fortune. This one, at least, is kind of amusing.]

There are times when I'm convinced that you would accidentally eat the fortune inside the cookie. [Sorey's priorities, though....] Probably not from her. She might give you another mask, if she doesn't kick you out.

But ahh. ] Yeah, thought so. Though I'm not quite sure I understand the point of the mask, either. Is it something we should wear while we're here?
