[It says a lot when he doesn't even have the energy to argue that he has been as out of the way as possible. Besides, just because Mikleo isn't in the way now, doesn't mean that won't change as the day progresses.
He just sighs, tiredly.]
You may have a point. Alright, alright. Just...let me clean up before I go.
[Mikleo is stubbornly determined to tidy everything up and then walk out that door all on his own. He can do it, he can walk home like this!]
Do whatever you want. It isn't as though I'm concerned.
[it's not for you, baka!!!
But he really will let Mikleo do what he wants. So long as he's leaving, Leon's fine with it. Though... admittedly he might be keeping a rather close eye on him while he works, just to make sure he'll be okay.
Not... for his sake. Just because it'd be a pain if he hurt himself or got in the way clearly.]
Mikleo goes about cleaning up everything. A bit slower than normal, and a couple of times he forgets what he's doing in the middle of doing it. He gets it all done within the hour, though.
Instead of feeling triumphant, the water seraph just feels a little worse. He has to put his hands on the counter and lean against it for nearly a minute before attempting to walk out. Well, it's more like a slow shuffle out. Mikleo's doing fine right up until he reaches the door. That's about when he gets hit with a dizzy spell and has to lean against the door frame in order to avoid falling head first to the floor.
[He's got nothing at all....... Leon is watching all of this with a rather flat, withering expression, so when Mikleo slumps against the door frame like that, he's immediately striding over.
Because this is just pathetic and he can't watch this.]
You are going to fall on your face.
[Seriously.... and then, in a markedly less aggressive tone than he usually uses:]
Is the vertigo that bad?
[He understands perhaps better than anyone what it feels like when you've got symptoms like that; he's got a tendency towards really bad motion sickness, and while it's not a classic illness like Mikleo's, he's still more than familiar with how the symptoms feel.]
[He's a pathetic water seraph right now and it's terrible. Not to mention, Leon's once again pointing out the truth. He probably will fall on his face.
Mikleo glances over at the other man and decides against nodding for the moment. That might be the straw that breaks the camel's back.]
Pretty bad. [It sucks admitting it, but...well.] This didn't start until sometime this morning, but it was light enough not to bother me.
[... Yeah, Leon can tell. He's going to watch Mikleo for a long moment, as if trying to decide if he's going to collapse as soon as he tries walking home.
From the way that he's clutching to that door frame, he probably will.
There's a sigh, and then he walks forward to stand in front of Mikleo, back to him.]
If you collapse on the street in front of this place, it will be a problem. Now stop wasting my time. Come on.
[Clearly from this you're supposed to understand "get onto my back right now you dumb seraph".]
[Despite his shortness and small frame, Leon really is surprisingly strong (he knows he doesn't have flat out strength, not like Stahn does, so he works for it instead, training and training and training until he can hold his own), so it isn't actually difficult for him to carry someone like Mikleo, who isn't that much larger than him.
So when he's certain that Mikleo is secure on his back, he'll just start to walk, silent but otherwise surprisingly not particularly grumpy about this.]
... Don't bother. [If Mikleo's going to try to make it up to him, that implies that Leon is doing him a favor WHICH HE IS NOT DOING.] If I didn't do this, you would have tried to make it on your own and may have collapsed somewhere, or gotten yourself lost. That would have put us all to even greater trouble. I am just making sure that less time is wasted.
[Sure Leon. Sure. It has nothing to do with the fact that leon finds Mikleo to be the most tolerable of all of the seraphim, or that he likes him the most out of his co-workers.]
[Mikleo knows better than to comment on Leon's real feelings behind the matter. He'll just smile a little. Perhaps he can start to see what Chaltier sees in the young man.]
It's still a kindness. To myself and everyone else. So, thank you.
[But...it doesn't negate that this is kind of an inconvenience to Leon.]
How about I make you something for a month? Gelato, sorbet, ice pops, and fruit frappe are some other things I've made besides ice cream.
[Shut up it's not for you!! And it's not a kindness!
Leon huffs under his breath in response to that--kindness, really--but his only response is muttered:]
Don't be ridiculous.
[Stop thanking him, it's embarrassing. And... offering him a reward of sorts for this too, that's also strange. He wasn't really expecting anything in exchange (ironic, considering how often he expects people to have ulterior motives himself), but... those are all things he actually likes....
.......... but it would be embarrassing to admit that he likes them...]
... Do whatever you want. I won't stop you. [That means "yes please give me ice pops" in Leonese.]
[Hrk. Another dizzy spell hits him that makes it feel like the world suddenly tried to flip him over. Gently, Mikleo's head falls on Leon's shoulder with a soft, unintentional grunt.
This bites.]
...Has anyone else been getting sick? I've noticed that...almost everyone from my world has been experiencing similar symptoms.
[His poor personal space bubble...... Either way, he doesn't respond verbally to Mikleo's head on his shoulder, though the way he tenses up can probably be felt by the water seraph. He can't help it; it isn't as though he mistrusts Mikleo, but physical touch is a touchy subject for Leon at the best of times.
He'll focus on the question anyway, because he hadn't realized it was so far spread.]
Is that so? [Almost everyone from Mikleo's world... Leon can't imagine why, unless it's because they're all living together, so they're all infecting each other?
Ugh, he hopes he doesn't get sick from this.]
I haven't seen much myself. [But Leon isn't social, so that doesn't mean much.] It sounds infectious, however, if that is the case for your other companions.
[Mikleo feels him tense up and somehow makes a note of it in the back of his mind. He tries to bring his head up, and it's the first real success he's had all day. The hard part's going to be keeping his head up....]
Hope not. Being sick like this isn't great. Though, I can't even remember the last time I got sick.
[Although, the seraph can't really remember if he actually made breakfast for the humans in his apartment this morning.]
Seemed like we got it around the same time. I'll have to see if we can get a doctor to check us out.
[Being sick is the worst, so it's not like Leon's going to argue with that. He's enough of a kid to really, really hate being sick so for now, he's mostly grateful that he didn't catch whatever it is (punk).]
That would be the most sensible option.
[No point in prolonging your misery, after all.]
With the way everyone lives in such close quarters here, an infectious disease could cause no end of trouble for the majority of us. Make sure that you recover so you do not make the situation worse.
Mm, might not be as much of a problem. Seems like this colony would have the resources to combat it before it caused a panic. Still a pain, but....
[Man, Cerealia better not make him eat those words. Although, now that he thinks about it, isn't Stahn from Leon's world, too? There's a good chance they know each other.]
You know someone named Stahn? Swordian Master of Fire, I think. I ran into him in ViViD once. Do you know if he's okay?
[You never know with a place like this, really. He's pretty sure they're both thinking along the same lines there, so he'll go along with the topic jump.]
Yes, I know Stahn. He's [his best friendan important companionUGHHHH] a traveling companion of mine. He's fine.
[Which Leon knows because they live together..... traveling companions, sure.
He is not. [Witness how quickly Mikleo rises to Sorey's defense. Not to mention how huffy he gets about it.] He's more intelligent than most give him credit for.
[Ominous pause.]
Though, given how you just described Stahn that, I guess that's as close to a compliment as Sorey's going to get.
I can't deny he's too trusting. [Like. Nobody in their right mind can. He doesn't think even Sorey can deny this.] Sometimes, he gets in over his head or doesn't think about the consequences of his actions, but that doesn't make Sorey any less of a good person.
action;
Either way, Leon doesn't look at all impressed at that response, quirking an eyebrow in response.]
What point would there be to that? You are only in the way with the way you are right now.
[That's not strictly true--Mikleo hasn't really been in the way. But that's the best way Leon knows how to say "go home, loser".]
action;
He just sighs, tiredly.]
You may have a point. Alright, alright. Just...let me clean up before I go.

The dumb seraph isn't going to refuse or argue. He just gets up on

With the way everyone lives in such close quarters here, an infectious disease could cause no end of trouble for the majority of us. Make sure that you recover so you do not make the situation worse.
[Okay!!! Don't make the rest of them sick.]
action;
[Man, Cerealia better not make him eat those words. Although, now that he thinks about it, isn't Stahn from Leon's world, too? There's a good chance they know each other.]

He is too much of an idiot to catch a cold.
action;
That almost sounded like fondness. But I'm glad he's okay.
[Otherwise, the Swordian Master will have more trouble on his hands.]
action;
I am not fond of him! [aslbfsgnlk!!!!!] I hate happy-go-lucky bastards like him the most, so don't get any strange ideas!
[Ugh!!!!!
Nah they're best friends for real though.]
action;
Mikleo winces slightly, but he's able to hide his smile at that.]
My mistake. Shame you won't like my friend very much, especially since he'll be visiting the shop more often when we're better.
action;
You mean Sorey.
[He knows that much...... with how Sorey reacted when Leon brought up Mikleo's name.]
Your friend is an irritation and an idiot.
[Leon ur rude]
action;
He is not. [Witness how quickly Mikleo rises to Sorey's defense. Not to mention how huffy he gets about it.] He's more intelligent than most give him credit for.
[Ominous pause.]
Though, given how you just described Stahn that, I guess that's as close to a compliment as Sorey's going to get.
action;
(The word you are looking for is "friends", Leon.)]
He is overly optimistic and meddles for no good reason. He trusts too easily, too--
[wait what SHUT YOUR MOUTH, MEEBO.]
It was not a compliment. Not for Stahn either! Don't be ridiculous! [HMPH]
action;
I can't deny he's too trusting. [Like. Nobody in their right mind can. He doesn't think even Sorey can deny this.] Sometimes, he gets in over his head or doesn't think about the consequences of his actions, but that doesn't make Sorey any less of a good person.
[HMPH YOURSELF, GOSH.]
Does Stahn agree that you're not friends?
action;
I don't need him sticking his nose in my business.
[That's just said sullenly, and then, most flustered--]
His opinion has nothing to do with this.
[Stahn doesn't agree]
